Everyone has a story. Stories have power. They help us understand each other. People may not look like you. They may not sound like you. They might have a different way of looking at things. It is our strong feeling is that if people sit down and listen to learn...not just listen to respond, that you might found out that we have more in common than we think.
Chances are that if you see a TV broadcaster wearing a hat, it’s Doug Jessop.
For Doug, it all started with a cassette recorder he got for Christmas when he was 12 years old growing up in Southern California. Doug interviewed relatives, friends and anyone else that might have a good story. The broadcast bug was solidified in high school after getting 15 minutes of fame being on-air briefly at 2 major Los Angeles radio stations.
His stories have been featured nationally (Muckrack Profile) and is the host for a variety of powerful, positive & inspirational TV shows including:
